Cody F. Miller explores the word ‘grace’ as a mixed media artist with cut paper, printmaking techniques and paint. At the Columbus College of Art and Design Cody began looking at the village of people who cared for him after leaving home when he was 12 years old. His paintings often show people and animals on a journey, navigating the interplay between light and darkness, as they try to find their way home. Cody’s work has been included in numerous exhibitions such as the “Arts Beacon of Light” in 2023 at the Riffe Gallery in Columbus, Ohio and the Cuban Biennale in Havana, Cuba 2024. He received numerous awards including two Individual Excellence awards from the Ohio Arts Council. Cody is represented by the Sharon Weiss Gallery in Columbus, Ohio.
