Dawn's artistic journey began in her early teens, fueled by a passion for creation. In her twenties, she shared her love of art by teaching classes to people with disabilities and honing her skills through various art courses. This period also saw her participating in art fairs and eventually opening her own shop.
Dawn's preferred medium is a blend of acrylics and chalk paint, which she skillfully applies to aged wood surfaces to achieve unique effects. In 2017, after selling her shop, Dawn relocated to Southwest Florida. This move inspired a shift in her artistic focus, leading her to paint coastal creatures and mermaids on repurposed old fencing provided by her husband.
Currently, Dawn's artwork can be found in boutiques throughout Southwest Florida, as well as in her Etsy shop, where art enthusiasts can purchase her distinctive pieces.
