Jonny Hawkins is a Christian and fulltime cartoonist whose work has appeared in over 900 publications since 1986. Places like Reader’s Digest, Parade Magazine, Guideposts, Medical Economics, Air and Space, American Heart Association, Medical Post and 76 Chicken Soup for the Soul books publications have featured his single panel funnies.
He has drawn over 50,000 cartoons and has had 20 books published and has created 90 page-a-day cartoon calendars (over a million sold), most of them for the world’s leading calendar publisher, Andrews McMeel. One of those is Fishing Cartoon a Day, now in its 19th year and Cat Cartoon a Day – now in its 12th year (and now produced by Willow Creek Press). His latest book is Laughter Therapy (Harvest House Pub.).
His cartoon jigsaw puzzles to date include Doggy Doodles, Fishing Funnies, State of Cat-a-toonia, Golf Laughs, Church Chuckles, and Funny Farm.
His new comic, Zoolies, is now syndicated by Tribune Content Agency.
Jonny works from his home in the country in Sherwood, Michigan with his wife, Carissa, and their 3 children – Nate, Zach and Kara - an Aussie Doodle, Blue, and 6 cats.
