Savannah Sam

Savannah Sam (92)

Savannah Sam began his artistic journey as a young man studying oil and watercolor painting under the tutelage of Clyde H. Roberts. His introduction to photography was nurtured at the same time by his uncle who was an avid flower and garden photographer. After retiring as an aerospace engineer, Sam pursued his own dream as a photographer and photo artist.  He specializes in capturing coastal and nautical scenes from the southern United States, spanning from the eastern shore of his home state of Maryland, through the Carolinas, down to Key West, and around the Gulf to New Orleans.  The classical southern charm of the southern coastal US provides a wide palette of opportunities to express his “Unique Vision of the Coastal Lifestyle.” He is constantly experimenting with new visual applications that allow him to further develop his style of “technical creativity blended with coastal calm.”
